Updates: 9/19/2012 v.2 + some comments

Did a lot of work on[livejournal.com profile] m22cdbtoday, finally (that's the database for The Sims Medieval Conversions to The Sims 2, btw). It's not complete yet (especially since my sign-in to Plumb Bob Keep is broken), but it's getting there. Not nearly as many new TSM conversions these days...

Superfluous commentary:
It's organized a little different than 322cdb, and deciding how I wanted to do it is mostly what kept me from really diving into it for so long. =p Individual posts on[livejournal.com profile] m22cdb  are more specialized since a)there aren't beaucoup store sets and expansion packs for TSM, and b) I wanted to experiment with a higher level of granularity in my tagging. Most posts are limited to displaying an individual item; if something came as part of a set from the same creator and it's all in the same image, then I'll tag according to all the items pictured. If an item is duplicated...well, there are 2 duplicated conversions currently, and I handled them each differently. For a certain table, one creator had it pictured as part of a set and the other had it standalone, so I just made 2 entries and put links to the other on each. For the other, a statue, I just put both on the same page-- more like what I do with 322cdb. I'm not sure whether that's tidier or messier, but there's a logic to it either way. =p

On hair conversions:
By all means leave comments about recolors and meshes belonging in sets! I probably actually already know about them, but you never know. Stuff from places like The Big Trade-Off is easy to miss, for example. There's a link to a spreadsheet on the sticky post where I've been keeping track of things... I just need to actually get it all on here, i.e. the tedious part of cropping and resizing and uploading pictures. And of course, the longer I wait, the more behind I get-- there's around 100 converted hairs [that I know of]!! Which is why I encourage comments as a couple of you have done, because it puts up an organized record of such things more quickly than I'll be getting to it. :) Thanks, guys!

Sets Which Are Sorely Lacking in the Conversion Department

These are the sets for which there are very, very few or literally no conversions. Obviously the worlds are kinda special cases, but there are still random objects exclusive to them, so I'm throwing 'em in. This list does not include the sets for which there are more than a few objects converted but are still a long way from completion, nor does it include sets that are all or mostly hairs and clothing (especially since clothing can't be converted  no longer true!).

Updates: 9/19/2012 v.3

I've been so productive! And to think I went almost a month throughout August without updating at all.

Games: Supernatural, Late Night

Store sets: Club Vaindenburger

Didn't update the page because it would require making a whole new one: Olympian Physique: I realized there's actually at least 1 vase converted from this in [livejournal.com profile] zeussims Goth mansion
